Lives are strung together through a series of relationships, some successfully overcoming growing pains, others ending in perceived failure. People can spend great amounts of their lives being defined by relationships they no longer have, some by ones they never had.

Life is a mosaic of all our experiences. The relationship with ourselves sets the course for all others. We get back in life what we give out, it is very hard to fill the cups of others when our own cup is empty.

We are responsible for our choices, reactions and the amount of power we give someone to affect us negatively. Often times reactions are based on theory, perception, unresolved misunderstandings, lack of listening and assumptions. When a relationship turns into a game that can be won or lost, right or wrong, finding a resolution becomes very difficult.

Coaching is not about forcing change, its about understanding the struggle, setting boundaries and accepting responsibility for our reality.
